Daily Harvest is a company serving sustainably sourced, healthy, easy-to-prepare food as a subscription-based service.

While they already had a pretty sleek mobile app for Android and iOS (created by Per Kreipke using React Native and Expo), they approached Work & Co to help them get it to the next level. We collaborated extensively with their design, marketing, and engineering teams by updating its design, implementing new functionality, and optimizing the performance of what was already in place.

In that sense, that was an uncommon project for Work & Co: rather than create a new application from the ground up, the role of developers was more to revamp and refactor existing parts of the current application and make the overall experience better. We had some pretty unique challenges to solve for animation, performance and user interface (scrollviews within scrollviews within scrollviews!), and I believe we solved them well.
